Mat Horne's brand new night, Poot, picks up from its first installment with a great line-up of upcoming and established artists. Mat's reputation was built from his TV appearances, but increasingly his musical output is his main focus. With his 6 music residency in the pipeline, and this night of forward thinking dance music he's proving to be a man of many talents.

Dr.Sketchy is for everyone, no previous artistic ability required.

Sotones are one of the most independant and creative record labels running in the UK. Formed in 2007, they have quickly formed a roster of diverse and taleneted acts, and have released numerous singles, albums and EP's.

Tonight is the first of two showcase gigs here highlighting the cream of their roster. Playing tonoight are Internet Forever, Moneytree, Nato, Edward J. Hicks, Ann The Arc & an as yet unannounced special guest....

More than 15 years into their musical journey, The Herbaliser just keep getting bigger, stronger and better. Taking influences from hip hop, jazz and electronica their releases on Ninja Tune's have lead to both cult and commercial success and there Fabric Live album is testament to their Dj skills. Catch main man Jake Wherry play an intimate set at The Old Queen's Head. 

Every last Saturday of the month, join Saturday Matinee for an informal afternoon of short plays and spoken word.  Showcasing new works, they will be presenting readings, and giving space to spoken word performers, which you can enjoy it all with a pint in hand!
