A fine art graduate of Central Saint Martins School of Art, Tim Shaw explores aspects of macho culture, drawing visually from certain periods in cultural history - in particular 1890s fine art posters, 60s collage and pop-art, and present day figures from men’s magazines. His work contains a hybrid of icons, brands and artistic styles from all of these.
